CNN —Donald Trump’s attorneys are joining calls for the dismissal of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in the 2020 election subversion case against the former president and his co-defendants in Georgia, pointing to alleged misconduct between Willis and her lead prosecutor. The filing also points to public comments Willis recently made defending her choice to select the lead prosecutor, Nathan Wade, arguing that she violated Georgia rules for prosecutors. SEATTLE (AP) — The Atlanta Braves acquired outfielder Jarred Kelenic, pitcher Marco Gonzales and infielder Evan White from the Seattle Mariners on Sunday night for right-handed pitchers Cole Phillips and Jackson Kowar. The move added a veteran lefty to the Braves pitching staff, along with Kelenic, who at one time was one of baseball's top young prospect. In the process, Seattle cleared a chunk of salary off its payroll, giving up on Kelenic in order for the Braves to take the contracts of Gonzales and White. Gonzales is owed $12 million for the 2024 season, while White has $17 million in guaranteed money remaining on his contract. The American Airlines hub expects to surpass 80 million passengers this year, a 9% increase over 2022 and a record for the airport, executives say. Last year, the airport was the second-busiest in the world by passenger traffic after Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, according to Airports Council International, a trade group.
